Why RigForge exists

Every part of The Network Journey came from the same root mistake: buying hardware for the sticker price instead of the capability I actually needed. A single-NIC mini PC. A USB 2.0 dongle that couldn't carry a gigabit. A switch with no MAC-based VLAN. Each one cost a weekend.

RigForge is the tool I'm building to stop that happening to you — starting from £0, with the gear you already own, and surfacing the one spec that's actually going to limit you next.

Status

This advisor is an early preview / beta: a starting point, not a finished product. It runs entirely in your browser — there's no account and no tracking. Hardware picks link out to Amazon UK (affiliate links). As it improves, updates will be announced in the journal.
